From Insight to Action: Using Community Feedback to Guide Parks and Recreation Decisions with Kevin Stay, Community Partnerships Leader, Kaizen

  • What do your residents really think—and how can you be sure you’re asking the right questions? In this session, Kevin Stay, Community Partnerships Leader at Kaizen and former pollster, will walk through proven best practices for collecting and using community feedback. Drawing from years of experience designing surveys and analyzing sentiment in communities across the country, Kevin will explore how Parks and Recreation departments can measure public opinion with rigor, avoid common data pitfalls, and translate findings into actionable, community-driven decisions.  Whether you’re planning your next master plan or seeking stronger public support, this session offers practical guidance rooted in real-world experience.

SIPA (CO Statewide Internet Portal Authority) Resources, Grants, and Digital Accessibility with Duane Tucker, Customer Success Director, and Josh Schroder, Digital Accessibility Specialist, SIPA

  • SIPA will present information about no- and low-cost resources, multiple grant programs, and digital accessibility. This session will provide awareness to all Parks and Rec Districts about the resources and grants available to them through SIPA, along with guidance to Parks and Rec Districts on how to develop the appropriate plan to become compliant with the HB21-1110 accessibility provisions, and provide awareness about SIPA accessibility solutions available to all Parks and Rec Districts.
